Ethnic Health Network -UK
Ethnic Health Network is a multi-ethnic, coalition of community organisations located across United Kingdom who are working for the health and social care improvements of minority ethnic communities they serve. Ethnic Health Forum is pleased to coordinate and launch a new initiative in this regard.
Ethnic Health Network, UK draws its vision from the research report “Fair Society, Health Lives” - The Marmot Review produced by the Institute of Health Equity and commissioned by the Health Foundation. The report highlights the ethnic health inequalities that exist across United Kingdom where health gap has deteriorated between different socio-economic groups. An important finding of this report is about the location across UK “the Place matters” i.e. where you live matters to your health as it affects your overall life expectancy.
